CSPD Wives Association
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the CSPD Wives Association to
provide support and strong bonds to wives and other
loved ones of CSPD officers.  We are committed to
offering a positive and safe environment for our members.
Member's Creed
  • We will provide and support a positive
    environment that our members will be
    comfortable with.  We will do our best to steer
    clear of negativity.
  • We will work as a team to provide support
    and comfort to those members in need
  • We will not intentionally bring negative
    attention or disrespect to the department or
    our officers
  • We will use our time, talents and resources to
    be successful in our projects and goals
  • We will promote good relationships with other
    local police department-related groups and
    associations
  • We will continue to focus on promoting the
    general well-being of our membership
  • What is talked about in our meetings, stays
    at the meetings
  • We will remain a separate entity from the
    police department
Goals
1 Year:
  • Increase membership by 30%
  • Complete first poster contest, set up to continue
    annually, and add schools each year
  • Set up a team for PPRPOM walk, including team
    captain
  • Raise $500 for PPRPOM brick
  • Have a Special Events coordinator
  • Sign bylaws into place
3 Year:
  • Increase membership by 30%
  • Establish community events that we participate in
    annually
  • Incorporate membership fee to cover expenses
  • Expand poster contest to include 2 school districts
  • Contact other area law enforcement agencies to gain
    contacts for starting new branches
  • Have a full board to oversee operations and finances
5 Year:
  • Have total membership of 125, plus other branches
  • Start quarterly book club for members only
  • Begin setting up scholarship fund
  • Increase donations to begin offering grants to
    agencies
