The Colorado Springs Police Department Wives
Association exists to encourage and empower,
strengthen and sustain the families and loved ones of the
Colorado Springs Police Department. It is with profound
respect and deep regard that we aim to be an asset to
the department-a steadfast source of support in
authentic and tangible ways to all officers, employees
and their families.

-Although we are a separate entity from the police
department, we will conduct ourselves publically and
privately in a respectable manner, worthy of such a fine
department.
-We will foster a positive and confidential environment
where our members will feel safe to share their personal
concerns and/or needs.
- Gossip, breaks in confidentiality and perpetual negativity
will not be tolerated and are grounds for immediate
revocation of membership.
-We will promote and support good relationships with other
local police departments and law enforcement
associations, including the PPA, by offering assistance
when and where we are needed.
-We will respond to any requests made of us by the
department for our assistance willingly and expediently.
-It is our goal to use our time, talents and resources to
continue to develop ways to serve the officers and
employees of this department and their families.
-We strive to be a bridge of relationship between the citizens
of this city and the police department and to help grow that
relationship in tolerance, understanding and compassion
through positive and helpful interactions.
