CSPD Wives Association
After the deaths of two of our most beloved officers in 2006,
it became apparent there was a need to provide support for
wives and girlfriends of CSPD officers.
In January 2007, we held the first meeting of what would
soon be named the CSPD Wives Association.

soon be named the CSPD Wives Association.
There were three original founding members that worked
very hard to get this group up and running. We now have a
Board of Directors that each bring their own unique
experiences and talents together, to provide you with the
best possible organization we can.
We strive hard to provide something to benefit everyone.
We hold meetings each month, rotating between each of the
police department substations. We also have many projects
and plans in the works, so check back often to see what
we're up to!
Nikki, President: My husband has been on the department
for 9 years and has loved every minute of it. We have been
married for 8 years and we have two boys. In addition to
being your CSPD Wives Association President, I am also
involved in raising money for diabetes-related charities.
Lauren, Vice President: My husband has been a police
officer for 13 years out of the 14 we've been married! We
moved here from Chicago 2 years ago, after he accepted a
lateral position with the CSPD. Shortly after that, we added
our 5th bundle of joy to our brood. In all of our spare time,
we...wait...we don't have any spare time! Faith and family
are our center and we love doing life together here in
Colorado!
Katie, Secretary: My husband has been on the department
since January 2000. We have been married for 12 years
and have a 9 year old son and two daughters who are 6 1/2
and 5. I also work part time at Air Academy high School as a
math teacher. I have been active in CSPDWA since June
2007 and joined the board in June 2008. I am proud of what
our group has done and am excited about all the things we
have yet to do.
Rachel, Treasurer: My main man is a police officer of 5yrs.
In March we will celebrate our 1yr wedding anniversary. I
love him with all my heart! We met on a ride along. I enjoy
supporting him in his work as a respectable police officer.
And I thoroughly enjoy being a part of the CSPD Wives
Association for just that reason! I have two wonderful
stepsons that I love and cherish. I own an automobile detail
business, Rachel's Auto Detail and have almost 10 years of
experience.
